INDIANAPOLIS—Hurco Companies, Inc. (Nasdaq: HURC), a leading manufacturer of machine tools for the worldwide metal cutting market, officially launched their new brand imagery to the public today. The 117 employees at the northwest Indianapolis headquarters facility gathered for a pre-launch event yesterday to celebrate the first rebranding in the company’s 44-year history. Indianapolis has been home to Hurco since Gerald Roch and the late Edward Humston founded the company in 1968.
“This is a very exciting and strategic initiative that will further highlight the technologies that our customers trust in, and the benefits they bring to their business. Our advanced controls capabilities make our machine tools exceptionally easy to use, and this allows our customers to begin producing parts faster,” explained John Donlon, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Service for Hurco Companies, Inc. “This benefit applies to all metal parts and mold suppliers in the automotive, aerospace, defense, electronics, energy, medical device and consumer goods industries,” Donlon continued.
In addition to a new logo, signage, website and marketing collateral, Hurco is introducing a very modern external design for their machine tools. “This redesign has been performed to coincide with the launch of a new platform of high performance machines that will be introduced to the public at our major tradeshows around the world through the balance of 2012,” said Donlon, “and will begin with the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) that will be held in Chicago in September.”
Hurco selected the Indianapolis based company, Borshoff, as their partner in this rebranding process.
