It’s a true vertical machining center with mill/tap functionality instead of just a drill/tap machine with milling as an afterthought.
Rigid, fine grain, cast iron C-frame design with solid construction make the VM10P rugged enough for rigorous cycles and lights out machining.

With larger linear rails that are
wedge-locked instead of the cheaper face-milled method, the VM10P has the stiffness needed to control vibration.
