Extended Shop Floor is one more example of how Hurco leverages technology to innovate new features and services that help shop owners be more efficient. Piper and his colleagues at the Brampton, Ontario machine shop saw how Extended Shop Floor by Hurco promotes remote diagnostics, remote monitoring, and remote communication.
The overwhelming interest in Extended Shop Floor has accelerated the project from prototype status to the product development phase, according to a Hurco spokesperson. All of the show attendees that participated in the Extended Shop Floor demonstration had the chance to win one of two Apple® iPod® Touch digital mobile devices by entering their email address. Piper is the first winner to be announced. The second winner will be announced before the end of the year.
