The VMX50 is a heavy-duty, high-performance machining centre with impressive travels of 1,270x660x660mm. There isn’t much the VMX50 can’t handle.
The Hurco WinMax control and its capabilities give the VMX50 the unmatched ability to increase productivity and efficiency.
The VMX50 is designed for performance. The FEA design provides optimal rigidity and ensures part accuracy. The increased metal removal rates save part cycle time. The high rapid feed rates decrease part cycle time.
Quality is not sacrificed in the VMX50's quest for speed. Digital drives enable greater part accuracy and a higher quality finish.
For applications requiring a higher-speed, 15,000 RPM spindle, the VMX50(t) can be upgraded to the VMX50S. The VMX50-50 comes with a 50 taper spindle and a completely redesigned head and column to take the heavier cutting loads and maintain high cut quality. The VMX50-50 also comes standard with a 30-station tool changer and an 8,000 RPM spindle.
All Hurco VMX models include many standard features that are typically offered as options on most other vertical machining centre brands.
