Transfer huge files to your Hurco control in seconds
UltiNet Software

Hurco machines with UltiNet connect to an Ethernet network (both 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps) using standard Internet protocols.

Many so-called network-enabled machines in the industry are “drip fed.” That means a little bit of data is transferred to the machine at a time, and then discarded. Should anything occur, like a broken tool, the entire program must start over. The best way to avoid “data starvation” is to have a legitimate, high-speed data link straight into the machine’s hard drive. That’s precisely what Hurco’s UltiNet does.

Hurco also supports wireless connectivity. UltiNet is available for both mills and lathes.

What makes Hurco's UltiNet unique?

  • Full control network capability for fast file transfers. Up to 10 MB files are imported in less than 10 seconds.
  • Compatible with all common network software, not just Microsoft Windows®.
  • Complements standard data transfer and backup features of RS-232 ports and 3.5" floppy drive, and USB port.
Other benefits to Hurco's UltiNet:
  • Transfer program files to the machine hard drive or directly into memory for execution.
  • Supports full duplex communication where program transfer can be initiated at the machine console or from a remote computer.
  • Automatically searches for other Hurco machines on the network, making machine to machine transfers easy.
  • Custom commands support pop-up messaging and file attribute setting.
  • Connects to a standard Ethernet network. Supports both Ethernet (10 Mbps) and fast Ethernet (100 Mbps).
  • Supports RJ45 (twisted pair), thin coax and thick coax cabling.
  • Uses standard Internet protocols (TCP/IP and FTP).
  • Contains FTP client AND server.
