VM1P - Hurco 2008

The VM1P has all the specs to meet the speed and reliability required for production machining—fast rapids, fast tool changes, and the ability to tap at 4,000 rpm.

It’s a true vertical machining center with mill/tap functionality instead of just a drill/tap machine with milling as an afterthought.
Rigid, fine grain, cast iron C-frame design with solid construction make the VM1P rugged enough for rigorous cycles and lights out machining.

With larger linear rails that are
wedge-locked instead of the cheaper face-milled method, the VM1P has the stiffness needed to control vibration.
