Hurco names Canadian Sales Manager
News Release

Hurco Companies, Inc., named Joe Poulin as the sales manager for Canada on September 10, 2006. "With hands-on machining experience and proven business acumen as a program manager, Joe was the logical choice to lead Hurco's focus to expand sales in the Canadian market," said Jim Kawaguchi, GM of Sales for Hurco USA.

Prior to joining Hurco, Joe was a program manager for Superior Machine and Tool in Chatham, Ontario, where he managed several large accounts that serve the automotive industry. His educational background centers around Machining Techniques and Business Management.

Poulin said he knows the value of Hurco firsthand. “I went from manual to CNC using a Hurco and understand the Hurco advantage. The design of the Hurco control and the conversational programming gives experienced tradesmen an easy way to transition to CNC and become more productive,” said Poulin.
